Thirty-five patients with benign tumors of the female reproductive system and twenty-seven patients with malignant tumors were under observation; all patients were diagnosed with grade I (mild) iron-deficiency anemia. The duration of therapy with Sideralom Forte in a dose of 1 capsule per day was from 30 to 60 days. As a result of therapy with Sideral Forte showed an improvement in the laboratory blood parameters in both groups of patients. In all cases, the drug, used for 8 weeks, was well tolerated and had no side effects. An increase in hemoglobin levels was registered in both groups of patients, Conclusions. Mild degree iron deficiency anemia in tumors of the female reproductive system can be treated with the oral iron preparation Sideral Forte.
