The structure of the SUKROSOMA

SiderAL® (SiderAL) is a dietary substance based on sucrosomial iron, which is an innovative, easily digestible source of iron in sucrosomes.

Sucrester + liposome + active ingredient = SUKROSOMA

WHAT IS SUKROSOMA?

Sucrosomes are microscopic spherical particles - bubbles (20-30 nm in diameter) filled with liquid.  Each sucrosome consists of three layers: inner, middle and outer.

The inner layer is represented by the core, which contains Sideral's active substance - iron pyrophosphate (ІІІ).  This form is maximally adapted for transportation and storage in a human body.  Unlike ferrous iron, the ferric form is less active chemically and therefore has less direct damaging (oxidative) effect on the body cells.  Pyrophosphate, having high tropism for transferrin, provides full iron delivery to all the body cells, regardless of any regulatory pathological inflammatory processes.

The middle layer is liposomal, formed by a lipid bilayer membrane (envelope) which consists of molecules of the same natural phospholipids as cell membranes.  Liposomes can penetrate living cells, so they are used to inject relatively toxic medications into diseased body areas, where they have maximum therapeutic effect.  The medicinal substances included in liposomes are more stable in the body, since they are isolated by the lipid membrane from the damaging effects of external conditions, in particular, from destruction in the gastrointestinal tract; at the same time, they have less general toxic effect on the body.

Sucrester covers the liposomal membrane from the outside and has its own effect on the absorption of the nanosphere (sucrosome) into the intestine, significantly enhancing it.  Sucrester potentiates ability of the liposome to deliver the medicine into the body.

WHAT IS THE FEATURE OF SUROSOMAL NANOTECHNOLOGY?

SUCROSOMES (LIPOSOMES) - IDEAL CARRIERS OF MEDICINES

  • Consist of natural lipids, therefore they are non-toxic and biodegradable. These are "vehicles" for the delivery of therapeutic agents to the target organ. Sucrosomial iron, unchanged, by endocytosis enters the enterocytes and is transported to the lymph, and then enters the liver, where ferric iron is released from the liposomal membrane and is involved into active metabolism.
  • They act as a "storage" from which the drug is released gradually, in the right doses

Sucrosomial ironю High bioavailability. 3.5 times higher than other peroral iron forms. No side effects. Does not interact with the other medicines or food ingredients  The iron in sucrosom becomes more stable in the body, as it is isolated by a lipid membrane from the damaging effects of external conditions, in particular from destruction in the gastrointestinal tract or interactions with chemicals and, in its turn, in less degree has a general toxic effect on the body.
