Composition: Sideral® d.r.  - Sucrosomial® iron (iron (III) pyrophosphate, rice corn starch, sucrose and fatty acid esters, sunflower lecithin on glucose syrup, milk proteins *, tribasic calcium phosphate), edible gelatin; vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) filler: microcrystalline cellulose;  anti-caking agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, vegetable magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide;  colorants: iron oxide red, titanium dioxide. Gluten free.  Without GMO.

Recommendations for use: could be recommended for use in dietary nutrition of adults in conditions accompanied by iron deficiency of various etiology, as an additional source of iron and vitamin C for persons adhering to a vegetarian diet, with an inadequate and unbalanced diet or with an increased need of the body for these substances

REFERENCE INFORMATION

Iron is an essential component of the human diet, necessary for the synthesis of hemoglobin, myoglobin, and respiratory enzymes.  As a rule, the body's iron stores are replenished with food.  With increased iron loss or pathologies associated with impaired absorption in the upper small intestine, iron deficiency occurs, which could manifest itself in the form of iron deficiency anemia (IDA).  Often development of IDA is provoked by menstruation in women, which are accompanied by huge blood loss.

Iron is included in the diet as prescribed by the physician for various conditions:

• Sideropenia and iron deficiency anemia of various etiologies;
• Chronic post-hemorrhagic anemia
• Latent iron deficiency in the body associated with excessive chronic blood loss: bleeding (including uterine bleeding), continuous blood donation;
• Increased need for iron (pregnancy, lactation, period of active growth);
